BIRDS & WILDLIFE: There are about 5,000 mammal species in the world and about 10,000 birds, with new species being discovered all the time. Every creature has adapted to life on Earth by developing its own unique survival techniques. Not unlike humans, many animal species have developed complex social systems and heirarchies.
